Draft for review by counsel before publication. Casaway Capital, LLC, doing business as August AI ("August," "we," "us"), operates augustdentalai.com and the August application at app.augustdentalai.com (together, the "Service").

1. What this policy covers

This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website, request a demo, or use the Service as a practice owner or team member. It does not cover the data practices of third-party services you connect to August (for example Google, Meta, or your practice management software); those are governed by their own policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, practice name, email address, and anything you write in a demo request or support message.
Account and practice information: the practice profile, goals, brand details, and other business information you enter into the Service (the "practice brain").
Connected accounts: when you connect a service such as Google Business Profile, GitHub, or an advertising account, we receive the data those services provide under the permissions you grant. Access tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked from the Connections screen at any time.
Usage information: log data, device and browser information, and product analytics about how the Service is used.

3. Protected health information

August is designed so that marketing agents do not receive patient records. When a practice connects its practice management software, that connection runs through the practice's Dental Document account and August receives aggregate totals only. Where August processes protected health information on behalf of a practice in any protected workflow, it does so as a business associate under a signed Business Associate Agreement and in compliance with HIPAA. 4. How we use information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
To run the marketing work you approve, using the connected accounts you authorize.
To communicate with you about your account, demos, and support.
To measure results, including matching marketing contacts to outcomes in a way that never returns patient identities to August.
To protect the Service and enforce our terms.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, email delivery, model providers, analytics) under contracts that restrict their use of the data; with third-party platforms you connect, as directed by the actions you approve; when required by law; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.

6. Advertising platforms

When you enable conversion signals, August sends coded event names and nominal values to advertising platforms you have connected. August does not send patient names, procedures, or treatment details to any advertising platform.

7. Your choices and rights

Export your practice brain, campaigns, and results at any time from the Service.
Revoke any connected account from the Connections screen.
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing contact@augustdentalai.com.
Opt out of marketing email using the link in any message.

8. Data retention and security

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is for dental practices and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
